The Relationship between Resilience and Academic Burnout among Nursing and Midwifery Students in Kermanshah, Iran

Background. Nursing and midwifery students have relatively high levels of academic burnout. One the mechanisms to combat this issue is resilience. The results related association between burnout resilience indicate a negative association, but various studies reported different correlation coefficients. Therefore, current study was aimed investigate among nursing students. Methods. A total 240 were recruited in cross-sectional using stratified random sampling. Data collected by demographic information questionnaire, Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS). analyzed SPSS-16 t-test, ANOVA, Spearman’s coefficient, linear regression analysis.
